Ewa
Hey, I am Ewa!
I’m an illustrator drawn to fast, expressive lines and visual storytelling. I work with ink, riso and digital tools, mixing bold marks with playful ideas. My process is intuitive, energetic, and focused on capturing feeling rather than perfection.
The Machine Factory
A playful novelty book for toddlers, designed to be touched, pulled, pressed and turned. The Machine Factory introduces the Stretch Machine - a cheerful contraption that helps animals reach their full potential. A worm becomes a snake, a giraffe’s neck grows longer, and an elephant gets an extended trunk. Each page offers something to do: flaps hide surprises, gears spin, rubber buttons can be pressed. There’s no text - just movement, shape and expression. Made for very young readers, the book encourages curiosity and physical interaction. Created with Ladybird Publishing in mind, the project is all about fun, repetition and small discoveries.

HAIKU
A whimsical project combining illustration, poetry and print. This series brings to life haiku written by Kate Miller-Wilson, using hand-drawn ink illustrations and a custom typeface made from wooden letter stamps. Designed for the ‘Fun and Play’ brief with Bratsford, the work explores the gentle rhythm of haiku through mark-making, texture and space. Each spread was printed in riso, keeping the imperfections and layering that give the book its handmade feel. It’s a slow project – meant to be read slowly, too. A mix of poetry and process, and one of my personal favourites from university.

Pink Cat Tattoo
A branding project for a tattoo studio where every design begins with a story. Pink Cat is a calm, welcoming space - especially for women getting their first tattoo or marking a personal moment. The identity balances softness with confidence: gentle pinks, rounded typography and a hand-drawn logo that feels both warm and refined. The strapline to wear your story speaks to the heart of the studio’s approach - listening first, then creating a design that carries meaning. The brand was developed to feel exclusive but approachable, personal but professional. A studio that makes space for emotion, memory and ink.
