WILL jack
Hey, I am will!
Im a Graphic Designer with a passionate interest in UX/UI design, my practice is all about being ambitious and innovative. I always strive to make the absolute best possible outcomes for every project, fore-mostly aiming to satisfy the requirements of the brief and then go beyond them. I consider my greatest strength to be my ability to rationalise my choices in and outside of design and also within potentially stressful situations.
POP UP POOCH PUB
People still design for Gen Z like many of them are not full time working adults who can drive, drink, and own pets. This is a brand that aims to treat Gen Z as the adults they are by inviting them and their furry companions to come visit their local food stand in their local dog park, pull up a chair and socialise in a relaxed setting setting after a long day. Using beer stain inspired visuals in a variety of oftenly dog thematic shapes in conjunction with neutral very relaxed colours to create a visual language reminiscent of the aftermath of a good time.
PUNCHLINES
Unlawful and Harmful protests are a plague on all sides of the debate, often resulting in firmer restrictions on protests as a whole making it harder to advocate for your beliefs. Punchlines aims take a comedic approach with factual support to evidence the ineffectuality of harmful protests, and offering alternative approaches that are more sustainable for all those involved. The project adopts a punk style inspired by news papers and utilising analogue print methods, such as letterpress which were then manipulated through digital means.
FEST
A response to a university set brief to design a festival that would take place on campus inspired by a theme of my choosing. My solution was themed around the visuals of retro arcades and the culture that would eventually emerge from it carrying on to even now in the modern day.
