Anastasiia Ledovskaia

Hey, I am anastasiia!

I am a graphic designer with a passion for visual identities. I enjoy experimenting with different software and unusual materials for my projects, such as exploring TouchDesigner or Blender, as I did in my practice, or printing posters and booklets on acetate. My practice is more digitally oriented, but I like to work with packaging, thinking about how to create perfect structural nets. My mathematical mindset helps me to think spatially and analytically. It is intriguing for me to create not just designs, but experiences.

Bloom.

Bloom is an exhibition dedicated to scientific achievements in bioengineering, specifically showcasing plant species created by scientists with an enhanced ability to purify the environment. The aim of the exhibition is not only to raise awareness about these achievements but also to attract new, young minds to the field.

The identity is a blend of the scientific and the natural. ASCII art inspired by plant shapes and organic forms are used for the logo, while acetate material is utilized for posters and catalogues to evoke a sense of clean water, air, and nature. The overall design creates a visual union between science and the natural world.

MOX.

MOX (pronounced as "moh", which means "moss" in Russian) is an immersive exhibition that allows visitors to experience what ancient Slavic people felt and what drove them to create pagan myths.

As the core of the visual identity, I created a custom set of sharp, primitive symbols that are used across the entire identity. The mythical creatures are designed as a mix of these symbols: they depict common features but deliberately avoid creating a complete, obvious image. I chose this fragmented approach because the true catalyst behind the creation of these myths remains unknown. By leaving these visual gaps, the design directly reflects that sense of mystery and the dark, untamed imagination of the past.

Secret 7 x War Child

Secret 7 x War Child is an animation celebrating 10 years of Secret 7’s collaboration with War Child. This organisation has spent years supporting charity by creating unique vinyl covers and involving many talented artists and renowned musicians. To maintain consistency with their visual identity, I used their website’s colour palette and created an abstract informational sequence. My goal was to tell the story of their journey in an engaging and dynamic way.
