Can you get me a pad Dad?

This zine supports the campaign, #Pads4Dads by Hey Girls charity. #Pads4Dads collaborating with Bodyform, will help Dads also get a seat at the table when talking to their daughters about the taboo subject of periods. Changing the existing guide to be a pad shape was to enforce the idea of periods being censored, especially when talking to dads.

Chunni (ਚੁੰਨੀ)

Cultural appropriation still exists to this day, with more and more people taking fashion trends from South Asian culture and turning it into something else. It raises the question if it’s appropriation or appreciation? This zine therefore aims to educate those on the beauty of South Asian fashion.

Mother's cooking (Maa Da Hath Da Khana)

The title, ‘Maa da hath da khana’, means cooking from a mother’s hands in Punjabi. This meaning aims to express the importance of a mother’s cooking especially within my culture. The book provides context behind my mum on how she learnt to cook, as well as various Indian home favourite recipes with the meaning behind them.
